Our environmental responsibility
Lawcris are committed to prevention of pollution, and to continual reduction in environmental impact caused by the company's activities. Lawcris are careful to meet environmental legislation and ensure regulations are complied with. By recognising the importance of educating and training their employees, Lawcris makes continuous improvements its environmental performance in terms of both its products and processes.
Lawcris has F.S.C (Forest Stewardship Council) certification and aims to continue to promote the use of materials that are certified with this mark. The company is consistently assessing suppliers' ability to ensure their products are manufactured from timbers that are sourced from properly managed and sustainable forests.
Most of our waste material is disposed of in one of our two shredder/burners, which eliminates landfill and in addition, heats two of our buildings reducing Lawcris' use of fossil fuels.
The company's logistics department coordinates deliveries to ensure the routes taken are the shortest to reduce pollution and fuel usage.
Lawcris believe that being environmentally aware is an import factor of business success.
